‘Risk it, Fake it, Steal it’
The Crew teaser was released by the creators on Saturday, which landed perfectly among the fans. This film is one of the most awaited projects that is going to be releasing this year, mostly because of its star cast, as the casting is something that you don’t see every day. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan and produced by none other than the Animal actors Anil Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor.
Balaji Motion Pictures wrote in the caption of the teaser about the film without revealing much about the plot, “Three ordinary air hostesses from Mumbai embark on a journey to pursue their dreams, but find themselves caught up in unexpected misfortunes.” Just like how Kareena said at the beginning of the teaser,
‘Kehte hain ek cheeti he kaafi hain haathi ko maarne ke liye, aur yaha toh teen-teen hain’
(it is often said that just one ant is enough to take down an elephant and here, we have three ants!) Starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The movie has revealed Diljit Dosanjh as a supporting cast and Kapil Sharma in a guest appearance.

By the looks of the teaser, we can surely say that the cast of Crew seems promising. The best part of the teaser is when Kareena teases Tabu in a comedic manner after she makes fun of her for applying foundation by saying “It’s the foundation, not a time machine”.
The last film Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor produced was Veere Di Wedding, which was also a female-centric film with Kareena Kapoor Khan as one of its leading ladies.
In an interview with India Today, she shared that when Rhea mentioned the concept of the crew, the actress was really intrigued, and also shared, “This also means I get to share screen space with two stellar actors, Tabu and Kriti.” Many celebrities including Priyanka Chopra have shared the teaser on her Instagram story with the caption “Obsessed!”
Tabu has been part of many films in the past couple of years including Bhool Bhulaiya and Drishyam 2 which were also a commercial success at the box office.
Whereas, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Netflix’s hit thriller/ Mystery film Jaane Jaan alongside Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. During the promotions of Adipurush, Kriti Sanon, the actress of ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aise Uljha Jiya’ shared that working with them was nothing less than a dream come true.
The actress shared, “I am working with two amazing female actors…we generally work with a lot of male actors, but to work with two leading ladies is a dream come true, and it’s a lot of fun.” With The Crew all set to release on March 29, fans are excited about witnessing a movie with female actresses as the leading cast which is once again not something done that often.
The heist comedy filled with fun banters guarantees us a safe and happy journey. With female protagonists, the Crew is a fun adventure. The comic ride with the “3 Badass Air Hostesses” will engage the audience to wish for a time machine to watch it again.
