Children at times might not be able to relate and find it to be a buzzkill. But a mature audience and cultured Otakus would definitely love it as it possesses some elements that make it a gem.
Apart from the superb animation and detailed world-building within just 26 episodes it has given value to the various supporting characters that Riko and Reg meet throughout their journey.
