Final destination: Bloodlines has begun its production in Vancouver right after announcing the new star cast for the 6th installment in the series. The next part in the film series is named Bloodlines and its plot line is not revealed yet.
One concept that makes the series interesting is the lead character always procrastination where he or she sees everyone dying but somehow a few of them manage to cheat death.
But Death is a powerful and unstoppable force of nature that will always follow its next victim no matter where they are. Something that the past movies have all in common is that ‘one can never outrun Death’.
Final Destination New Star Cast
All the parts from the series always focus on 6 to 7 characters and their arc and just like that the lead cast for the bloodlines has been announced. The cast consists of young actors including Brec Bassinger from the CW’s DC series Stargirl (2020-22) who plays the lead in the show Courtney Whitmore/ Stargirl, Chucky (since 2021), and Wind River (2017) actor Teo Briones and Kaitlyn Santa from musical ‘Dear Evan Hanson’.
Other stars in the upcoming supernatural horror/ thriller are Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee.
Final Destination 6 will be directed by Adam B Stein and Zach Lipovsky. The producer is Craig Perry, he is a longtime producer and his name is among the list of producers since Final Destination 1 (2000). The sixth installment will also be co-produced by Jon Watts (spider-man: Homecoming) and Dianne McGunigle.
Final Destination Legacy
The legacy of this franchise dates more than a decade back as it had some gruesome dark death scenes that still give its viewers nightmares. Some of them still drive carefully when a truck loaded with wooden logs gets in front of them. I think we all know what I am referring to. No one can ever forget that scene.
All the parts had some new faces and some recognizable ones like Mary Elizabeth Winstead from Kate (2021) was in Final Destination 3, Twilight actor Noel Fisher was in Final Destination 2, and CW’s Legends of Tomorrow fame Nick Zano in the fourth installment of Final destination.
The first part of the franchise released in 2000 earned over $110 million on a $23 million budget. Fans are looking forward to seeing Final Destination 6 and are expecting the makers to do justice to the legacy of the franchise.
Final Destination was not just a typical horror movie, the creators back then knew how to create anticipation, and a feeling of worry and leave the audience on a hook.
